When not using your Woodify Sound Ring, keep it in its pouch away from heat or direct sunlight.

Nourish and protect the wood from dirt and scratches by applying a small amount of almond or linseed oil. Use a minimal quantity and remove the excess with a cotton cloth. Repeat this process every 6-10 months.

Woodify sound ring -cherrywood

I received the cherrywood woodify ring and immediately tried it out. I am not a professional but it improved my sound when I put it on. My sound was more focused as described. Has anyone tried putting it on the area where the headjoint is inserted into the flute?

It Helps!

I’ve been trying the Woodify ring for almost 2 weeks now. I’ve experimented quite a bit with positioning, and think I have it now in the best place for me. At one point I had it in a position that made my flute very, very sharp, a total surprise and one that proved to me that it makes a difference for better or for worse. All was well when I moved it back. it does help with tone, not sure about projection, I’ll have to experiment with that, but the biggest help so far is my tonguing is sharper, clearer. For me, that alone is worth the price.

Blows my mind!

I cannot really tell what Woodify is doing, but my sound is so much fuller and I have the feeling of greater projection! It kind of highlights the harmonics and makes the sound resonate a lot!
